Round Up Your Purchase to Support The Goodwill Greenhouse

In January and February 2017, Your Goodwill is implementing a new fundraising effort to benefit the Goodwill Greenhouse “Seeding Success” small business training program. Shoppers are being asked to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar, and the change will go directly into the Greenhouse Program. Shoppers can also choose to donate whatever amount they want during check out.

“We have started this in stores so we can accommodate more participants in the spring.” said Paul Guzik, Vice President of Retail.

The produce and flowers grown in the Greenhouse will be sold in Goodwill stores throughout the Goodwill NCPA territory. The Greenhouse Program was started in 2014 and has already grown to include a large hoop greenhouse and multiple flower beds. In 2017, Goodwill will add a second, larger greenhouse, expand the amount of land used and include more trainers and trainees in the program.
